I produced the feature film "Cadence" which raised $10,400 in crowdfunding and went on to premiere at the Vancouver International Film Festival where it won the mustseeBC award in 2016. With over 3 years of experience in independent film and commercial work, I have produced seven shorts and my work has been shown in festivals and across the web.

In the Master of Digital Media program at the Centre for Digital Media; I focused on project managing, interactive storytelling  and movie marketing projects, with an aim at solving real world problems using agile methodologies, user centred design, scrum, and rapid prototyping.

Film and Video

Nicolas began his career in film production, raising capital for and managing his first feature film. Story editing, scheduling, budgeting and crewing.

He has also worked freelance behind the camera and in the editing suite.

Digital Media Projects

As a student of the Master of Digital Media, Nicolas has worked in a variety of projects involving interactive storytelling, marketing, and gaming.

Through his experiences at the CDM, he became an adept project manager, concept designer, and public speaker for digital projects.

Crowdfunding

As a social media manager, Nicolas has been involved in three different crowdfunding campaigns, and has consulted in many others.

These real world experiences allowed for his feature film "Cadence" to be made.
